• AND AFTER THE COMPLAINT A CASE ID WILL BE PROVIDED TO USER BY THIS USER CAN CHECK THE STATUS OF HIS CASE

• . THIS APPLICATION CONTAIN A LINK NAMED OFFENCE AND PANEL SECTION IN WHICH FINE IS GIVEN BY EACH OFFENCE

• DBMS IS USED TO SAVE THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD OF THE OFFICERS AND ADMINISTRATOR OFFICER AND ADMINISTRATOR CAN ALSO CHANGE THERE PASSWORD

• THE BASIC FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE SYSTEM ARE REGISTER COMPLAINT, LOGIN CHECK, COMPLAINT STATUS, TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND SIGNS .

OBJECTIVE

• THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP A WEB APPLICATION IN WHICH ANY CITIZEN CAN REPORT CRIMES.

• IF ANYBODY WANTS TO COMPLAINT AGAINST CRIMES HE MUST DO IT THROUGH THE POLICE

• THE TRAFFIC POLICE MANAGEMENT MAKE THE CRIME REPORTING EASIER

Problem statement:

In the existing crime management system, most of the operations are done manually like sending complaints, taking actions against crimes, viewing status etc

If we are doing the system manually, so many minor errors will occur. Error detection in the previous entries made and data cross verification is another important function

Sometimes the complaints may be ignored by the police.Even an efficient officer may not be able to handle more than one case at a time

The Department of Police is an independent statutory body which was created to maintain an effective and efficient police service for the public

. Their primary task includes securing continuous needs of the public in an efficient manner.

THE OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CREATE A WEB APPLICATION WHICH WILL CREATE TO MAINTAIN AN EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT POLICE SERVICE FOR THE PUBLIC

THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF OUR PRODUCT IS BETTER COMMUNICATION, BETTER LEADERSHIP, REDUCING CRIME AND DISORDER

THE PROJECT MAINLY AIMS TO DEVELOP AN APPLICATION FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO HANDLE THEIR INVESTIGATION PROCESS IN AN EASY WAY

. OFTEN PEOPLE ARE RELUCTANT TO GO TO POLICE STATIONS TO REPORT CRIMES. THIS PROJECT MAKES REPORTING OF CRIMES EASIER.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: THE BASIC APPLICATION MUST OPERATE FAST ENOUGH. THE APPLICATION SHOULD CONNECT TO THE SERVER AS FAST AS POSSIBLE

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: PERSONAL INFORMATION HERE IS TO BE STORED ON THE SERVER SO IT SHOULD BE SECURE ENOUGH TO MEET CONFIDENTIALITY ISSUES

• FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

USER FRIENDLY: THE APPLICATION SHOULD USER FRIENDLY SO THAT A NEWBIE CAN OPERATE AND USE IT WITH EASE.

THE APP SHOULD NOT CONSUME MUCH OF MEMORY SPACE OF SMART PHONE AND SHOULD BE EFFICIENT ENOUGH TO LOAD WITHIN SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS.
