E-Mail Notification of Pending Requests

• If your library has set up your participant record to trigger an e-mail to ILL staff when a request is received from another library for an item you own, it is now working correctly. In the past, it sent an e-mail to the first library in the lender list only.

“Renewed to” Date Calculation

• The Participant Record now includes a Calculate Renewed to Date option that allows libraries to select the method by which the Renewed To date is calculated; either from the date on which the request was updated to Accept Renewal (current default) or from the original due date.

• The system will also use your lending policy time period is you have indicated one in your Lending Policy.

Blank ILL Request Form for Library Customers

• The Blank ILL Request option is shown in the Patron Menu library customers’ systems that have authorized ILL functionality for library guests.

New Staff Interface

• If your library would like to use the new staff interface, send an e-mail to:

helpdesk@auto-graphics.com Ask them to turn it on for your library.

• You will need to tell them the name of your library/school and your JerseyCat symbol.

• Sample e-mail: Please turn on the Iluminar staff interface for ________ Library. Our JerseyCat symbol is_____. Thank you.

Interstate Pilot Was A Success

• States that you may borrow from include:– Connecticut– Wisconsin– Kansas– Alberta (photocopies)

• You must be willing to lend to these libraries if you wish to borrow

• All borrowing and lending is free other than the postage.

What must you do?

• Contact Scherelene via the new Help Desk

• The symbols of the out of state libraries will be added to our preferred lend list and the catalogs of the libraries will be added to your search screen.
