JMG ASPIRE (AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM) NEWS
*ASPIRE 3RD QTR. PAYMENTS DUE: payments for 3rd quarter registra-
tion will be due MONDAY, January 12, 2015. Receipts for making pay-
ment may be retrieved from the school office from 2:15-5:30 p.m., Mon
-Fri. starting Mon. January 5, 2015. All late fee receipts should also be
settled by January 12, 2015.
*OPEN REGISTRATION for the ASPIRE program is on-going for grades 1-
5. Parents /Guardians interested may pick-up registration packets from
the school office from 2:15-5:30, Mon.-Fri.

I hope that everyone had a restful break and a great start to the New Year! The
year 2015 looks to be a another great year for our Dolphin family! Due to the
increase in student enrollment, I have had to request for additional positions,
please join me in welcoming our newest dolphin family members to our school:

Just a few friendly reminders:
Uniforms are mandatory, please ensure your child(ren) are in uniform.
During morning drop-off please do not go against the flow of traffic. You
are not permitted to go through the main parking lot and then try and turn
around and go out towards the traffic light.
I ask for your continued cooperation and support for SY 2014-2015.

CEMBER 12 FRIDAY: KINDER RM.01 DYNAMIC DOLPHIN FOR NOVEMBER “KIRK
ECHON” DISPLAYING HIS AWARD. THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS: Chloe Bautista,
Stianne Maton, Antonio Choisa, and Kaleb Cruz received prizes from the Star Ticket Raffle during
JMG’s Monthly Assembly. Prizes provided by the Kinder Teachers and Sup-
port Programs ( Curriculum and Counseling Office- Mr. and Mrs. Cruz)
OUR KINDER CLASS ( RM.01) WOULD LIKE TO THANK “ LEONA CEPEDA AND HER FAMILY “ FOR THEIR GENER-
OUS DONATION OF A DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREE AND AN AREA RUG FOR OUR CLASSROOM DURING THE
HOLIDAY SEASON.
The Chamorro Lan-guage and Culture Program at Juan M. Guerrero Elementary School is very proud to announce that Angela Orallo, a fifth grade student from room 21 Ms. Garrido and Chamorro teach-er Siñora A. Mani-busan, won the Hon-orable Mention Award from an an-
nual poster contest sponsored by the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council. The theme for this year's competition is "Nihi ta fameska, hagas kustumbre ginen mañaina-ta"(Let's go fishing, a responsible and traditional activity). This contest was in conjunction with the Annual Chamorro Lunar Calendar Festival to be held on January 17th and 18th at the Sagan Kotturan Chamorro (above Hilton Hotel at the old GMH housing). The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.; please join us in this event! Biba Tuninos!
