Our schoolWelcome to D. Fernando II school, in Sintra, Portugal ! There are about 500 pupils in our school, aged between 10 and 16.

As you come into the school, you ‘ll see the main entrance.

There are 30 classroms. Our class is usually in P6.

We have got a sports fieldand a garden with lots oftrees.

The gym is in anotherbuilding.

Our school cluster has got two schools from year five to year nine :

The school cluster has about 3.800 students. Santa Maria is the main school of the cluster.

variety of palaces, parks and gardens surrounded by montains and near the sea.

A tramline connects Sintra and Praia das Maçãs.

Famous portuguese explorers …

During the 15th and 16th centuries, numerous territories and maritime routes were discovered by the Portuguese as a result of their intensive maritime exploration. 

Some Famous Portuguese explorers were Ferdinand Magellan and Vasco da Gama.Christopher Columbus is not from Portugal;This explorer and navigator was born in 1451 in the Republic of Genoa, Italy.
