Chris, in the future they would like to:

• Have assessors in the remote areas &

assess students in Retail shops with

e-devices such as iPad (tablets)

• Students to be able to access their learning

material via Moodle

• …and download forms that they have to fill

in & submit assessment forms electronically.

Situation then:

• Assessor & students had a paper copy of

the form on a clipboard

• Filled it in by hand

• Scanned the paper & emailed

Me, at the time:

• Knew of interactive PDF’s

• Knew they could be filled in on a PC & send electronically

• Cant’ edit doc’s or PDF’s on iPad….so I thought

• Can’t upload files from iPad to Moodle…so I thought, again

Needed to find out what is possible & what’s not:

• Are they any Apps that allow you editing doc’s/PDF’s on a mobile device?

• If so, would it work offline?

• Are they any ways that a 3rd party App could be used to get files into

Moodle, preferable automatic synching?

• Is there a way forms can be attached automatically to the correct course &

student
