Who comes to the Academy?Students who think like this:

Dear Senora Irene,

Thank you so much for everything the past years! I took Spanishplacement a few days ago at Temple, and although I thought it was difficult, I became exempt from all four or five levels of Spanish offered to Freshmen. I am taking a Spanish Literature and Film course in the fall andI'll continue the language, but thank you so much for making that all possible for me!

Hope you're having an amazing summer so far!

Love always,Nitasha AAHS ‘09

Who comes to the Academy?Parents who respond like this:

Hi Ms. Reilly:

[My child] got a perfect 800 on his SAT-Biology. Tremendous credit

goes to you for motivating him and driving him to excel in Biology, and

Chemistry at AAHS. As he keeps saying, you have been his BEST

teacher at AAHS who has been very passionate in getting your class to

excel in the Sciences, which is the focus at Allied. [My child] has enjoyed

your classes even more than Math in which he is naturally good….It is

due to your dedication and passionate teaching he pulled off [such]

scores. [He] has been very fortunate to start his high-school program

with a teacher of your caliber! Thank you for keeping him focused and

motivated.
