If you look at the number of students from India that study abroad, you could see that there is a constant increase in these figures. There is a marked growth in the percentage of Indian students who prefer to study in the international universities. Previously only the elite segment of the Indian society sent their children abroad for studies. Today that is not the case, even many middle class families send the students to foreign countries for studies.

Some of the countries that attract Indian students include Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai, the US and the UK. These countries also welcome Indian students or in general international students because they generate a sizeable percentage of revenue for their country every year through these students. Today it is lot easier to study abroad when compared to the olden days. Today when you want to study abroad consultants are there to help students with the enrollment process. They assist students to review various institutions, courses from a variety of countries and help them pick the best institutions based on their specific needs and requirements. They also help students with information on how to get scholarships from international universities. In terms of bank loans and educational financing options students get reliable information from these educational consultants. All these further boost the interest of the Indian students and make them opt for overseas studies.

When compared to the earlier generations, Indian students are lot more focused. As a result, we could see that more and more students from India opt to study abroad. Today we have the opportunities required to meet this inner burning needs of the students. People’s spending power too has increased to the extent that more people are able to afford overseas education.
