WHY IS MENTAL MATH IMPORTANT? It is essential because it lays the foundation for more complex maths.

It provides both tools for solving problems and filters for evaluating answers.

It is an excellent way to stimulate one's mind. Research has proven that there is a direct relation between numbers, brain stimulation and development. 

Thinking is what makes us human--not dependance on machines to do our thinking for us!
