First I looked through all my pictures to find one that would look good on my contents page. When I selected the image I wanted I placed it onto Photoshop and made the image bigger so there wouldn’t be any empty space.

After I had moved my image so there wouldn’t be any unnecessary space, I cropped it down so it would be a close up of just the top part of their bodies because I didn’t want the bottom part of the picture because I didn’t think it was necessary and I wanted it to fit on my contents page as a small image.

After I cropped it down I decided that I didn’t want the black background so I decided to erase the background so it would look better on my contents page. First I tried using the magic eraser tool but that didn’t work and it took out some of the colours off the girls and you could only see part of their bodies. After that I decide to use the Eraser tool so I could take out the parts of the picture I didn’t want or need. I think this was the best choice to get rid of the background because I had full control, I could take out the parts that I wanted, I was able to get it more precise because I could zoom into the pictures and get a close cut so there wouldn’t be a black outline around the girls because of the background. However from doing this it was a lot harder because I had to be careful that I didn’t rub out any of the girls. I also had to make sure it didn’t look odd in some parts because when I was going around their head when I first did it they looked flat so I had to go back and make it look better.

This was my final product after I had erased the background. I think the image looks a lot better after I had taken out the background because it looks a lot more professional and it also makes the people stand out a lot more because you couldn’t clearly see their outline when there was a black background but now you can clearly see them both.
