IHTTI is one of the most established hotel management schools in Switzerland with a long and proud history. For more than 20 years we have been preparing students for supervisory and management careers in the international hospitality and tourism industries and have alumni working in key positions all over the world.Located in the centre of the historic university city of Neuchâtel, between Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura mountains, IHTTI is close to the major transportation links, retail outlets, museums and cultural venues, leisure and nightlife facilities, as well as many winter and summer sporting attractions. IHTTI has a strong relationship with the city and university authorities, enabling our Swiss qualification to be fully recognised by the Cantonal Government. Our university partner in the UK, the University of Derby, is one of the UK’s top professional universities which was recently ranked by the Guardian Newspaper as being in the top five British Universities for hospitality and Tourism.Our intensive curriculum, together with the extended terms, allow us tooffer these highly-recognised Swiss and British awards in only 4 academic terms (plus 2 internships) resulting in a considerable cost saving as well as an earlier start to the student’s career. IHTTI, School of Hotel Management in Neuchâtel city, is one of the most established and successful hotel management schools in Switzerland. With a long history of producing world-class hospitality and tourism executives, IHTTI’s graduates are its strongest credential. They are working in key positions around the world.
The IHTTI campus consists of a modern building located in the heart of Neuchâtel. The lobby and the rooms are freshly renovated. Neuchâtel is a pulsating Swiss University city. Its atmospheric Old Town is extremely attractive, with the golden beauty of its architecture, its many cafés and restaurants and its trendy bars. With its upscale street markets and hip designer boutiques Neuchâtel has the flavour of a town actively seeking influences from beyond its own borders.
Over the years IHTTI has built strong links to local institutions like the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the University library and the local hotel industry. These links provide students with additional support throughout their studies.
IHTTI offers a wide range of world-class academic programmes in Hospitality and Tourism management. The BA Degree is awarded by the University of Derby (UK), recently ranked by the Times Higher Education Supplement amongst the top five British Universities for hospitality and tourism education. Due to the limited number of students IHTTI can welcome it is able to provide a very individual and personal service to each student.

IHTTI offers two intakes each year in February and September. For students who need to improve their English language skills prior to beginning the academic year, the school provides a partly sponsored English Foundation programme.
