International English Language Testing System

IELTS is an international examination of prestigious class. Its inception was in 1989. It was incorporated mutually by the prestigious University of Cambridge E SOL Examinations, British Council & IDP Education Pvt Ltd.

IELTS constitute of two prime training versions:

The Academic version is meant for students who are interested to pursue their higher studies and as well as for professionals who intend to pursue their PHD. Courses and other education related core areas.

General version

The General version is meant for only professionals whose interest caters towards immigration purpose or to get a foot hold in an English speaking country in terms of novelty and work experience.This prestigious course is acclaimed universally by eminent countries’ educational association like Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand and South African academic institutions, its recognized by varied educational forums in the United States, and various corporate functions as well as for immigration to countries like Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

IELTS Test Structure

IELTS encompasses 4 parts Listening (30 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (11–14 minutes). The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The highest Band Scale is 9 bandwidth score, scores are determined separately for each module or each section and finally added together and an average score is decided upon as an Overall Band Score. Except speaking and listening module rest Reading and Writing modules are formatted differently.
