HOW TO SET-UP A BLOGGER ACCOUNT

GO TO BLOGGER.COM

If you don’t already have a Gmail or Google account, then click the red sign-up button

CREATE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT

It’s really easy to create a Google account. My suggestions are to add another email address if you don’t want to add your mobile phone number. This way, if you forget your password you can have it emailed to the email you use the most!

NOW YOU WAIT…

After you’ve created a Google account, you wait for me to add your new Gmail as an author to our blog. The easiest way to do that is to send an email from your new Gmail account to stevengjackson7@gmail.com. You don’t have to create your own blog. Once you’ve been invited to our class blog you can create posts and add comments there!

YOU’VE GOT MAILCheck your email at your new Gmail account. You should find an invite from MHS Precalc Functions 2012 (just like below). Click on the link and follow the directions.

After you click the link, Google will ask if you want to create a Google+ account or just a limited Blogger account. For this class you should create a limited Blogger account. Make a display name using just your first name (you can be creative with different symbols).

NOW YOU’RE READY TO BLOG!

Once you’ve been invited and created a limited blogger account with a first name display name…you’ll end up here! Click on MHS Precalc Functions 2012 to start blogging!
