Images similar to these should only be used if you want an amateur, cartoonish look.
In most cases, photographs are available to convey the same message, only much more professionally.
Rules for SAYING…
How to Deliver…
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO?
Make a profile of audience, Plan it accordingly and share your stuff in a way so that you could
Excite the audienceEngage the audience
Requirements?
Icebreaker and
Behavioral Tactics
You Require
Icebreaker (To make your audience comfortable)
A story or quote or anything that disrupt the audience…Preplanned question for the audienceSome set of activities or exercises…Some videos or Image…
Keep it relevant and appropriate
Know your matter and speak in your own words If you want the audience to read what’s on a slide, look at it and read silently along with them
Don’t Read Slides
Ask questions If they don’t respond, try offering an answer. Make the audience part of the experience.
Don’t stand behind a podium Get close to the audience and move from place to place while
maintaining eye contact, but only from time to time. Do not bounce around like a ping-pong ball.
Be Accessible
Only for a few seconds per person Too short and you’ll fail to engage; too long and it becomes
uncomfortable Don’t bounce your eyes around constantly Don’t fidget, hold onto things, or put your hands in front of
you, behind you, or in your pockets.
Make Eye Contact & Use HandGestures
Don’t step in front of the screen or block it from view Don’t use a pointer unless you must Gesture with your hand, but don’t touch the screen
Don’t Block Audience View
