How do I make my work neat? Each piece of work MUST have a title which is

underlined with a ruler Maps must have a key When drawing a straight line or a table you MUST use

a ruler Do not do diagrams & tables too small. Space out

your work Stick any worksheets you have been given into your

notebook Write down the questions followed by the answer OR

answer in full sentences Do not miss out pages. Keep your work organised. When you hand in your work for marking, give in all the

sheets as well as your notebook

How do I get good marks?

After the lesson always check that you have understood the lesson. Use your dictionary to help you

Keep your glossary up to date with new words learnt & their meaning.

Answer questions in detail not just one or two words

In projects, DO NOT copy & paste from the internet. Try to write it yourself in English. Do NOT use a translator… it often does not make sense!

Examinations

If you want to use a dictionary you MUST bring your own and not ask to borrow someone else’s

On the day of the exam ALWAYS bring your notebook for that unit to be marked.
