In my opinion, the income level for this career cluster is where it really shines. You have the potential to make anywhere from $29,000 per year to almost $150,000+ per year! This, however, is completely dependent on schooling, training, education, etc. It also holds the title for largest and fastest growing industry in the United States.

Many oncologists work on hospital grounds, but they are not strictly confined to the hospital; they may even work in clinics, on college campuses, or even with/for drug companies. In my opinion, the aspect in which this career really shines is it’s possible income. One can earn anywhere from $150,000 to $500,000 per year. It’s completely dependent on employer, position, and subspecialty, however. The one major drawback to this career is it’s prerequisites. Much like a Pathologist, one would have to get a Doctor in Medicine degree, alongside a residency and a license to practice.
