Hello travel mates ! Our adventure will start very soon friends. I think it is time to plan our trip and check some useful information. Lets go!

The picture in the left shows the flights from Mlaga to Auckland on July 12. Its a long journey, and we will arrive to our final destination at noon July 14th.

We will come back to Mlaga on August the 9th, though we will be arriving on the 10th.

Flights and transport in and between islands will be explained in the following pages.

As you all already know we will arrive to Auckland on July the 14th , 21:05 local time. We will take a taxi to go to the house where we are going to stay during the time well spend in Auckland.As decided in one of our first meetings, each of us has offered his/her home for swapping in order to save some money in accommodation. And, guess what Our hosts in Auckland have offered their car to be used during the time we are in New Zealand !!!Following I present you our first home , In Auckland :

Auckland is New Zealands largest city , situated between two huge harbours and surrounded by 48 extinct volcanos. I think it is worthy staying there some days to get a rid of the jet lag and enjoy this beautiful city which is full of possibilities.

July 18 : leaving to Hahei

We will spend the nigh at the Hotel Hahei Horizon Bed & Breakfast 20 Grierson Close in Hahei . We will have some time to spend to enjoy the wonderful Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve

July 19 : Heading Rotorua, Hobbits galore !!!Manuel, we have a surprise for you: farm stay in Hobbiton!!!http://www.hobbitontours.com/FarmStay

we will also be able to visit the famous Pohutu Geiser and mud pools.

July 20 : Rotorua-Gisborne Motel Oasis 5 Sponge Bay Road Tamarau, Gisborne

Gisborne is the first city in the world to see the sun each day. We will visit its famous wineries and beaches.

After so many busy days I thought it would be nice to spend some days in this beautiful and relaxing home. In addition to that, Napier happens to be one of the purest Art Deco cities in the world mixed with maori motifs that give the city a unique New Zealand character

I would love to spend one day visiting this wonderful and breathtaking landscape , Cape Kidnappers

July 26 BOAT TO PICTON: From Wellington to South Island

SOUTH ISLAND July 27th to August 9th

This area is a collection of ancient sunken river valleys filled with the Pacific Ocean waters. The coastline is intricated.We will stay in a swapping home for 3 nights so we will be able to explore the bird sanctuary of Motuara , July 28-29-30-31Marlborough Sounds

August 45 Lake Tekapo

Lake Tekapo is situated midway between the International Airport in Christchurch, and New Zealands largest winter and summer playground, the Southern Lakes District, which includes the towns of Wanaka and Queenstown.We will stay in a Bed&Breakfas wich site you can visit : http://www.threeriverslodge.co.nz/index.html

I must confess I have a personal interest in this visit , the astronomical observatoryhttp://www.phys.canterbury.ac.nz/research/mt_john/

For those of you who are not keen on astronomy, you will enjoy the Tekapo srpings. There is a choice of 3 hot pools with wonderful outlooks over Lake Tekapo and the mountains beyond. The spring water is heated from the by-product heat that the Ice Rink produces - very energy efficient!
