Ben Clayton 14/02/2017 Billy Goats Gruff Three billy goats, each with the same name (Gruff) but little medium and big, are on the way up the hillside to eat grass and get fat. On the way, they must cross a bridge where a hungry troll lies in wait under the bridge. Each goat crosses the bridge separately each telling the troll not to eat them as a fatter goat is about to come along. The third and last goat makes a stand as he is the biggest goat and fights of the troll. Characters – Little goat gruff, middle goat gruff, big got gruff and the Troll. Locations – bridge, grass hill side, under the bridge. Audience – 3-6 years old. Style – simple cartoon. Making it easy for the young audience to understand what is happening within each page. Adaptation – I would change the goats from being a different animal such as sheep as they are like the goat but would be easier and better to make into cartoon. Jack and the beanstalk Jack, exchanges his cow for some magic beans. The beans grow overnight into a beanstalk which Jack climbs, arriving at a magical land ruled over by a cruel giant . Jack battles the giant and decides to rescue a young princess held captive in the giant's castle. Characters – Jack, Mum, Cow, Giant, Person who swaps cow for beans. Locations – Market, Jacks house, giants land/home. Audience – 3-6 years old. Adaptation – change the location of the troll’s land to space and change the troll to an alien to bring it to a modern style fitting what children enjoy currently. Three Little Pigs

Billy Goats Gruff

Three Little Pigs

The story of the is a tale about three pigs that upon setting out from their mother's home each build a home, one made of hay, another made of twigs and the third one made of bricks. They are soon attacked by a wolf that wants to eat them.

Characters – pig 1, pig 2 , pig 3, mother pig, wolf

Locations – mothers home, hay house, twig house, brick house.

Audience – 3-6 years old.

Adaptation - change the location by changing the style of 3 houses the pigs decide to make.
