1 Google Docs – Spreadsheet Sharing, Copying, Renaming, and Embedding Share Your professor has shared a spreadsheet with you. You want to check that you have it. > Go to Google Docs (docs.google.com) and Log On > Select All items > Check and see if the item there underneath name. It will be the file name that the professor told you. _____________________________________________ IF you do not see the document or spreadsheet: 1. Your email must match the email account used by the professor. IF the professor mailed it to the incorrect account, then, discuss with the professor the account that should be used. The professor may have to resend it. 2. You may have to refresh your page, and select all items again. Make the File YOURS! You will copy and rename the file so it is no longer the professors. You will make it your own. Copy the File > Select the shared file. It will open. > Select File > Make a Copy Rename A box will appear and you can rename the document. > Rename the document. Now your document will be saved. This is the one that you should change. Make sure that the your new title is at the top of your screen.

2.Youmayhavetorefreshyourpage,andselectallitemsagain.

Make the File YOURS! Youwillcopyandrenamethefilesoitisnolongertheprofessors.Youwillmakeityourown.

Embed the Chart

Whenyouhavecompletedyourspreadsheet,youaregoingtoembedthechartintotheWIKIpage.

1.Publishyourchart

>SelecttheChart–Clickyourmouseonthechart,andthewordChartwillappearinblue,withanarrow.

>SelectPublishChart.Codewillappear.

2.Copyandpastethecodeintoawebpagethatyouwant.>SelectAll‐thecode(HighlightorCtrlA)>Copyit‐Options(RightClickorCtrlC)

EmbedintotheWIKIpage 1.OpentheWikiPagetoyourpage.

2.EmbedintoWIKI>SelectEDITThisPage(nearthetop)
