Books at Birth/Healthy Readers

A true culture of literacy begins at birth.

That's why every infant receives a copy of Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown or Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin at their first well

child visit at Finger Lakes Medical Associates. This collaboration between Geneva Reads and FLMA's pediatrics group is also funded by Geneva Rotary Club, the Nelson B. Delavan Foundation and Geneva

General Hospital Auxiliary.

We hope that this gift will be the start of a lifelong love of books and reading!

Inaugural Job Shadowing Program

Career Readiness

Ninth-grade students from Geneva High School had the opportunity to learn about careers from community members who are engaged in Geneva 2020. This was 'collective impact' in action, students finished the job shadowing experiences knowing more about prospective careers, and equally important, that their success in school is important to all of us.

"Thank you so much for supporting our students," said Mrs. Kersbergen."This is a fantastic resource for fantastic students. This magazine will help inspire readers to become writers. It will open their eyes to the world of teenage writers. Thank you for believing in education and these students. It is because of the support of people like you that these teenagers will be successful in high school and in their lives. I couldn't do my job to the best of my ability without your support. Thank you!"
