Title: The films title is shown in bold to catch its target audiences attention. Its also been edited in bold text to make it stand out.

Actors/Actresses: A list of famous stars are shown to attract the audience more because they would’ve been aware of their status in the industry.

Slogan: ‘No Names, No Badges, No Mercy” The slogan would persuade the audience to want to know more about the film. The idea of there being ‘no names, badges or mercy’ conforms to the genre as there is no limits to crime. ‘No badges’ could be police officers taking it upon themselves to leave their role/duty.

Credits: The credits include other stars other than those listed above. It also includes directors and producers, although the text is intentionally small for the audience to not read it.

‘Coming Soon’: makes the audience of aware that of this possibly being the first poster, advertising that the film is yet to be released without giving the audience a release date.

Main image: Is an ensemble, presenting a group main image. This goes with the title being, ‘Gangster Squad’ as a small image of the squad is shown at the bottom with the main characters of the film being shown in the right hand side.

The female character’s red dress could have possible connotations for love, danger or passion. Love and passion, especially could imply a romance that occurs with her and another suiter in the film, enticing those in the audience that are interested in romance scenes.
