Friendship Friendship is a feeling of love and affection of one person for another. This feeling of love must be reciprocated. Otherwise friendship cannot be possible. Friendship does not exist where tastes, feelings and sentiments are not similar. The famous essayist Bacon has warned against the friendship between a very rich person and a very poor person. Economic disparity damages friendship. Thus friendship is a feeling of affection between two likeminded persons of uniform status. It is said that a friend in need is a friend in deed. There may be many friends at the time of prosperity. But most of them desert at the time of adversity. We can examine the sincerity of a friend during our time of hardship and trouble. Only a sincere and faithful friend remains with us at the time of our trouble. All others leave us. It is very painful when our friends turn traitors. Money is an enemy of friendship. Everybody has an attraction for money. When lending or borrowing of money is done between two friends, there is great risk. Friendship may be affected. So it is wise for true friends to avoid monetary transaction. Vanity is another element which breaks friendship. Everybody has self- respect. When a person tries to criticize his friend, their friendship is affected. So friendship must be treated very delicately. Very often some hypocrites pretend to be friends. They are more dangerous than avowed enemies. By telling soft words they bring enormous ruin to us. A true friend never exploits. He rather surrenders. But at present, the meaning of friendship has changed. There are many fair-weathered friends. They terminate their friendly tie as soon as their interests are fulfilled. It is very difficult to find a true friend today. It is better to establish true friendship with either a dog or an elephant. Both these beasts will remain faithful to their human friends. Today, friendship between two persons is short-lived. Good friends exercise good influence. They always help their friends, in distress

FriendshipFriendship is a feeling of love and affection of one person for another. This feeling of love must be

reciprocated. Otherwise friendship cannot be possible. Friendship does not exist where tastes, feelings and sentiments are not similar.

The famous essayist Bacon has warned against the friendship between a very rich person and a very poor person. Economic disparity damages friendship. Thus friendship is a feeling of affection

between two likeminded persons of uniform status. It is said that a friend in need is a friend in deed. There may be many friends at the time of

prosperity. But most of them desert at the time of adversity. We can examine the sincerity of a friend during our time of hardship and trouble. Only a sincere and faithful friend remains with us

at the time of our trouble. All others leave us. It is very painful when our friends turn traitors.Money is an enemy of friendship. Everybody has an attraction for money. When lending or

borrowing of money is done between two friends, there is great risk. Friendship may be affected. So it is wise for true friends to avoid monetary transaction. Vanity is another element which

breaks friendship. Everybody has self-respect. When a person tries to criticize his friend, their friendship is affected. So friendship must be treated very delicately.

Very often some hypocrites pretend to be friends. They are more dangerous than avowed enemies. By telling soft words they bring enormous ruin to us. A true friend never exploits. He rather

surrenders.

Today, friendship between two persons is short-lived.Good friends exercise good influence. They always help their friends, in distress and inspire them

to walk on the right path. But evil friends ruin us completely.

Bad Friend

Someone who acts like they are your friend but is really a manipulative backstabber. A bad friend would be someone who is jealous of you and tries to compete with you and take over your life and replace you in all aspects because their life is too sucky and they can't come to terms with the fact that they were just lucky to be your friend in the first place. Someone who only cares for themselves and thinks the world revolves around them. When you try and be nice my inviting your best friend out all the time and introducing her to new people and other friends. Then behind your back she back stabs you by talking about you to your friends! When you don't even know that anything is wrong! Saying how much of a bad friend you are because you didn't give her enough time to for insanely long conversations about her life, making you the worst friend in the world. Because being busy with uniwork isn't a excuse!

Therefore payback is talking behind your back to friends.

CrimeEach country in the world has some social problems which need to be fixed. One of these problems is

crime. This essay will look at some of the causes and solutions of crime.

One of the significant causes is unemployment. Because people do not have a stable job which helps them to pay everything in their lives such as foods, clothes, so they can not improve their lives. As a result, although something is unlawful, they must do to have money. For example, a father needs to

give tuition fees for his child but he is a unemployed; therefore, he steals everyone’s money. This cause more people becoming criminals.

The second cause is migration from rural are to urban are. Some people consider that they can have a good life in urban areas. However, some people do not have knowledge and skills to do anything so

they cannot adapt with new environment. As a result, they are seduced easily to do unlawful actions. For instance, some naïve girls from rural areas to urban areas, they are easily cheated to become bad

girls which is a kinds of crime.

These are 2 causes of crime. The solutions will now be examined.

The first solution is education. Criminals should be taught job skills which help them to easily find a stable job. This means that they can have a stable salary to improve their lives. Furthermore, they

must be taught how good morals

The second solution is town planning. Some poor towns should receive help from the government in order to build some companies or facilities such as parks, houses for people. This means people feel

better when they live in their town and they have work to do so they think of making crime.

In conclusion, crime is a serious problem with some causes and nagative effect on society. Possible sollutions to this problem include to educate criminal and town planning helping people to improve

lives.

The cycle of violence in domestic abuseDomestic abuse falls into a common pattern, or cycle of violence:• Abuse – Your abusive partner lashes out with aggressive, belittling, or violent behavior. The abuse is a power play designed to show you "who is boss."•Guilt – After abusing you, your partner feels guilt, but not over what he's done. He’s more worried about the possibility of being caught and facing consequences for his abusive behavior.•Excuses – Your abuser rationalizes what he or she has done. The person may come up with a string of excuses or blame you for the abusive behavior—anything to avoid taking responsibility.•"Normal" behavior — The abuser does everything he can to regain control and keep the victim in the relationship. He may act as if nothing has happened, or he may turn on the charm. This peaceful honeymoon phase may give the victim hope that the abuser has really changed this time.•Fantasy and planning – Your abuser begins to fantasize about abusing you again. He spends a lot of time thinking about what you’ve done wrong and how he'll make you pay. Then he makes a plan for turning the fantasy of abuse into reality.•Set-up – Your abuser sets you up and puts his plan in motion, creating a situation where he can justify abusing you.

Poor & PovertyPoverty may be known as a state symbol in less developed countries. Laster R. Brown in his book 'World Without Borders' explains poverty thus; "Unfortunately it is not an economic abstraction, it is a human condition. It is despair, grief and pain. It is the despair of a father with a family of seven children in a poor country when he joins the, swelling ranks of unemployed with no prospects of unemployment compensation. Poverty is the longing of a young boy playing outside a village school but unable to enter because his parents lack a few rupees needed to buy text books. Poverty is the grief of parents watching a three year old child die of a routine childhood disease because they cannot afford any medical care." This is the grim, spectacle of poverty. India is a poor country. We can see easily this picture of uneducated, hungry and poverty stricken people also in India. Mass poverty is one of the important characteristics of the Indian economy. In India, due to abject poverty about half of our population lead a miserable life.By poverty we generally mean a situation in which a person fails 10 earn income sufficient to purchase his bare means of subsistence. A poor man is one who does not have command over the basic needs of life like enough food, clothing, drinking water and shelter on the material level. On the nonmaterial level a poor man is deprived of basic social needs like health and education.Three broad concepts of poverty can be identified. Poverty can be defined as subsistence, inequality and externality. But poverty is mainly viewed in two ways absolute and relative. In absolute sense, poverty relates to subsistence. It means absence of the minimum physical quantities of food required for an individual daily. People are considered poor if they fail to attain minimum standard of consumption and nutrition necessary for their bare existence.Absolute poverty can be measured through income levels. Besides, progress in health and nutrition, literacy levels, consumption of essential goods and services etc. may indicate the level of absolute poverty also. Thus, it relates to the minimum standard of living. This may be expressed in terms of income or consumption expenditure.Relative poverty means difference in the relative standard if living of the people. It stands for the large inequalities of income and wealth. In short, it relates to inequality in the level of living. It is due to mal distribution of national income. Some people are of high income group and some are of low income group. Hence the later are relatively poorer than the former. This relative poverty is found in all the countries, developing and developed more or less. In India, we are mostly concerned with absolute poverty. Absolute poverty has been expressed in terms of minimum calories intake or recommended nutritional requirements.

SurviveA human being can survive an average of three to five days without the intake of water. In colder or warmer temperatures, the need for water is greater. The issues presented by the need for water dictate that unnecessary water loss by perspiration be avoided in survival situations. The need for water increaseswith exercise.A typical person will lose minimally two to maximally four liters of water per day under ordinary conditions, and more in hot, dry, or cold weather. Four to six liters of water or other liquids are generally required each day in the wilderness to avoid dehydration and to keep the body functioning properly. The U.S. Army survival manual recommends that you drink water whenever thirsty. Other groups recommend rationing water through "water discipline ". A lack of water causes dehydration, which may result in lethargy, headaches, dizziness, confusion, and eventually death. Even mild dehydration reduces endurance and impairs concentration, which is dangerous in a survival situation where clear thinking is essential. Dark yellow or brown urine is a diagnostic indicator of dehydration. To avoid dehydration, a high priority is typically assigned to locating a supply of drinking water and making provision to render that water as safe as possible.Recent thinking is that boiling or commercial filters are significantly safer than use of chemicals, with the exception of chlorine dioxide.

How To Get Motivated In Our Life• Find Your Mantra or Slogan.  A mantra doesn’t have to be long.  Raam’s mantra is taken from Aristotle you are what you repeatedly do.  Raam expanded on it and

gave me permission to post the full thing.• Remember Your Peak Moments. I used to call this being in the zone, but I much prefer the terminology from  Find Your Great Work:  peak moments. These are

moments of triumph and they remind me who I am, what I am about – and why I am chasing my unique goals. • Do Less. “Make everything count. Whatever you do or keep in your life, make it worthy of keeping. Make it really count.”  - from

The Simple Guide to a Minimalist Life, page 8.  I often feel unmotivated when I feel like I am carrying the world on my shoulders, and because of this completing tasks doesn’t actually make me feel good – it just makes me feel anxious and worry “what’s next?”  Simplify. Let go of commitments.  By making room in my day for the things I want to do, I am much more motivated to get started on them – and I don’t worry about a large to-do list that’s waiting for me.

• Nip It In The Bud – Don’t Let The Slump Start.   Often for me it’s the little things that lead to a motivational slump.   It’s skipping one workout to hang out with friends, then two.  By

the next week, in the back of my mind I’m already rationalizing why today is a bad day for the gym – there is so much momentum working against me that it’s hard to get started again. Don’t fall into that trap – recognize theactivities you do to procrastinate, and nip it in the bud. Take action right away, no matter how small the victory, and use that momentum for further tasks.

• Get Active.   I have only empirical evidence to back this up, but I’ve found that when I’m not exercising, my other goals suffer as well. I’m not sure

where in the process the magic is, but there is absolutely some relationship between productivity, running, high-energy workout music and a refreshing shower afterwards. While I don’t understand the interplay between all of them, taking a break and running for half an hour can change my perspective and get me motivated to go again.  In fact, often while I’m running I get inspired, and am tempted to cut my break short to get back to work..

• Remember This Moment Is Precious – And Only Here For Today.   Sometimes when I’m not motivated to do what I know needs to be done, I remind myself that

if I waste this opportunity, this one chance, I’ll never get another.  My minutes, hours and days come around one time – and it’s up to me to live the life I want, right now.

• Dream.   I really enjoyed Jonathan’s book Reclaim Your Dreams, and came away from it with renewed motivation to work hard for some of my

true long range dreams.  This may just be semantics, but I always feel like the word “dream” is more liberating than “goal.” I enjoy having and day to day focus on my goals – they tend to be concrete, discrete and (for me) more short term.  Dreams remind me why I’m focusing on short term goals – you may have a goal of visiting Australia, but you dream of traveling the world.

FamilyA family unit is the unit which builds up a persons personality. How you behave and what you become in life is very much dependent on your family life. Psychologists believe that a child learns the most from his or her family life. The way your family members deal with you has a life long effect on your personality. Keeping in view all these facts the importance of your family life cannot be denied. Family unit happens to be

the most important part of your life till you grow up. The children are usually closer to their parents and their siblings as compared to any other person in the world. As the children grow up they find good friends, spouses, their own kids and colleagues to share their lives with. Although time brings this change but the importance of family remains there. The children who have a sound family background and who

belong to a family with strong family ties are almost always happier. Thus one cannot deny the importance of family life.

The life with your family is very important it plays a major role in your development into the person you become. The goals you set for yourself in your life are very much dependent on the life you have with your family. Those children who belong to the families which have a

rich education background tend to learn more. They are interested in learning more and thus it is easy for their parents to get them educated. Similarly, for example, children who belong to a family from which a few of the people are in the field of professional sports, the kids tend to have an interest in sports and they also plan to go into the same field. The sons and daughters of stars from the film industries usually plan to follow the suit of their parents. Thus it is the effect of your family life which guides you to decide what profession you want to do as an adult.

Family life is also important in the sense that it gives you your basic strength as a person. The people who have a smooth and well settled family life are generally less scared of life. Those who are a part of a broken family are generally less confident. These people always expect

the worst in life. This is a general state of mind which results in building up of a negative personality. Family life is also important to people as it is the part of our life which has more effect on us compared to any other part of our life. The way a mother treats her kids is actually the

deciding factor of what those kids will be like as human beings when they grow up.

As important as family life is, it is a big problem in the world of today where the family units are breaking up more often and the divorce rates have grown very high. The higher divorce rates result in more broken families that in turn lead to a lot more number of children who suffer

through this insecurity in their early ages and as a result they are not that stable. These people tend to have a variety of fears and insecurity. They do not have the courage to face their life. As family life plays a very important role in shaping you as a person, lack of security in your

family life makes you a bit unstable as a person.

In todays world a big social problem is that the family unit is not being considered as important by the people as it used to be. In many parts of the world the time period for which people live together as a family is shrinking. The family life adds a sense of responsibility in your

personality which lacks in those people who have not had a very nice family life.
