The portfolio is an opportunity for you to show your work and your skills. It is something you can send or show to a potential employer. It should highlight your best work.

Think about these things:1) What are the skills you’ve learned and want to show?2) What projects show the quality of your work and your abilities?

Make a list of courses where you have completed a project and the name of that project. Your next step is to put some of those projects together into a portfolio that shows your work and your skills.

Think about these categories: Writing Designing Teamwork Organizational skills Leadership skills Problem solving Marketing Finance

Portfolio Assignment:

1) Choose at least 5 different examples of your best work to include in your portfolio. (See ideas above)

You may include: Brochures, posters, banners you have created Video clips Papers you have written ppt presentations Slide shows

Documents you’ve created, such as budgets, agendas, work assignments, essays

2) Describe the example and what it was used for.

Portfolio Format

Must include 1) An introduction statement about who you are and your goals for your future2) A list of courses and the projects you completed in them.3) The skills you have learned in the courses you have listed4) At least 5 different examples of your work (as described above)5) What you have learned from this work6) A statement saying the most important thing that people should know about you.7) An updated CV8) Active hyperlinks
