Some uses for the FormFlow system

FormFlow is a dynamic application builder framework built into the LearnCenter platform, which allows any organization to create custom forms using LearnCenter’s Web editor.

FormFlow is a combination of several features within the LearnCenter. Being part

of the LearnCenter means that system events can be dependent on or triggered

by workflow actions. These include events such as enrollment registration and

approval, course completion, user form submissions and much more.

FormFlow Components

FormFlow Editor This user interface enables workflows tobe created and edited and will allow forintuitive editing of the trigger / actionchain which forms the workflow.

Pipeline Rendering EngineA new component to the LearnCentersystem, this engine acts as the core ofour presentation layer and acts as thegatekeeper for all input and the systemthat will build all content. This createsa central system that handles thefollowing items:n Rendering content correctly for

multiple browsers n Handling language conversions

and abstractionsn Converting XML to HTML using XSL

or moving this conversion to the browser whenever possible

n Offloading display processing from the primary Web servers onto application servers

Trigger SystemPart of the workflow engine, this systemonly handles execution of code andworkflow items required by the SF-182form for government clients includingtriggers on some enrollment events andon FormFlow form submissions.

Application Importer / ExporterFormFlow applications can be exportedfrom one LearnCenter system andimported into another. The applicationwill be exported as an XML file, whichcan then be imported elsewhere.Applications will be developed to addressvacation requests, pre-hire paperworkprocessing, timesheet trackers, etc.
