Film Noir - My Film

Story Line

My short film is about Anthony Cooper who works in an office as a news editor. Yet again, Anthony has provided some good work for the company and the richest employee. However, his colleague Johnny Ellis is jealous of the attention and the amount he gets paid.

At the end of the day, when Anthony heads to the Head of the companies office, he sees Johnny stealing the money that he is owed. When he hears footsteps heading towards the door, he hides and sees Johnny leave with a bag full of money.

Later, Anthony pays a visit to where Johnny might be, the house of Ava Andrews, former girlfriend of Johnny. When Ava opens the door, she expected to find her friend who is picking her up to go on evening out outside her door. Anthony asks if Johnny is in but she replies with no and asks why he would be there as they have broken up. Anthony explains and Ava becomes more interested as she knows that he is rich. She said that she could help but it would cost. He’s hesitant but says yes as the beautiful woman walks around the room, eyes fixed on his. Ava’s friend arrive and she heads out the door, before leaving she tells him to come by her house at 12 so they can discuss a plan.

Story Line

The next day is spent planning what they can do to get back the money. Ava suggests she calls Johnny to a local bar in the evening to say that she wants to talk about their relationship and that they should get back together. They agree that Anthony will also walk in but they will act like they don’t anything about each other.

When the evening arrives, everything goes according to plan. Johnny excuses himself to go home as things become tense between him and Anthony. Anthony follows him home and Ava tells him to meet him to go to her house when he has the money.

Anthony see’s Johnny enter his garage but soon comes out. Anthony decides to speak up but as soon as Johnny can finish his sentence, he shoots him dead. He then enters the garage and takes the money and swiftly makes his way to Ava’s. She’s waiting outside her house for him to appear. He finally arrives with the money.

He tells her that he has to hide because he’ll be caught or killing Johnny to take his back his money. She hugs him goodbye but pulls out a gun holding it against his stomach. She says the words goodbye and pulls the trigger. She steals his money and enters her house.

Actors

Anthony Cooper played by Anthony Macit - Main character. Acquaintance and work colleague of Johnny. He is shot dead by Ava.

Ava Andrews played by Alex Daniels - Femme Fatale. Tries to make Anthony fall in love with her so she can get the money he finds that Johnny stole. Steals all of Anthony's money.

Johnny Ellis played by Max Reed - Ex boyfriend of Ava. Stole money from the boss of the company he works at that is owed to Anthony. He is shot dead by Anthony.

LocationAll of my scenes will be shot in Letchworth.

Costume

Anthony Cooper: Outfit - Black suit with a trench coat. Fedora hat. Smart shoes.

Ava Andrews: Outfit (3) - [1st outfit] Long black dress with lots of accessories.Props - Gun and cigar.

[2nd outfit] Simple dress with some Jewellery. [3rd outfit] Glamorous outfit with lots of jewellery.

Props - Cigar, gun, lipstick and clutch bag.

Johnny Ellis: Outfit - Grey Suit. Fedora hat.Props - Cigar and Newspaper.
