The masthead features on every magazine, typically at the top of the cover. This enables the reader to recognise the magazine as the font remains the same, albeit potentially
different colours to match the cover theme. For example, Empire magazine for Iron Man 2, the title matches the theme of the film featured to make it especially clear that the
main article is about that particular film.
The title of the film featured is usually in the lower half of the cover, to draw the reader’s attention to that after the title of the actual magazine. The title
matches the colour palette of the theme of the magazine issue, again, making it clear that the magazine is featuring a particular film.
