Points to be remember……• Certified journal copy is compulsory • Carry identity card and hall ticket.• Wear clean formals.• Read and write given statement correctly.• Change of experiment is not allowed.• Draw neat and correct circuit diagram (use pencil and scale and get it checked

from expert assistant or internal examiner).• Improve Handwriting (font and vertical orientation of letter)• Identification of components (Avoid DMM ). Write std. typical values of

resistors.• Ensure the proper soldering of components by measuring the values on DMM.• Instrument identification. Go through the necessary front panel control of DSO,

Power supply and Function generator.• Know theoretical expected waveforms, response and results.• Refer IC ordering information, Pin-outs and datasheets.• Communicate oral questions to your friends through electronic media.• Be specific and polite while answering.• Collect copy of your journal after the examination.

Differential Amplifier

• Adjust the Vcc correctly by multimeter. (Don’t trust on display of power supply)

• Variable voltage on-board.• Locate RE and fix the position of switch.• Do not use signal generator. • Label the characteristics/ waveforms correctly.• Write relevant conclusion.

OP-Amp Parameters

• Read definition, significance, ideal and typical value of all parameters(LM741, LF356).

• Importance of parameter in different applications.

• Don’t forget to connect gnd connection on board.

Integrator / Differentiator

• Draw frequency response on semilong• Mention fa, fb and gain at these frequencies

on graph• Draw the input and output waveforms at Fb

for integrator and fa for differentiator

Precision Rectifier

• More practice is requred to draw the circuit diagram of different configuration

• Mention the IC pin number in circuit diagram• Amplitude of input signal should be less than

700mV• Check the soldered resistor and diodes with

DMM

Schmitt trigger

• Apply input voltage greater than UTP and LTP• Ensure ‘OFFSET’ and ‘Symmetry’ knob of

function generator to be OFF• Mention axis, voltages (Vsat, UTP, LTP) on

hysteresis graph• Advantages of Schmitt trigger over simple

comparator• How to debug circuit

Triangular wave generator

• Implement the circuit partly i.e. first implement square wave generator and then integrator.

• Connect the back to back zener diodes with series resistor after the square wave generator. (know the importance of this connection).
