Research & planning technology#1- Yougov profilesWe used this website for part of our research and planning to help us decide on our target audience, this was used in ‘Assignment 12’.

We used this website to find out about the type of people that like different types of horror films, in particular possession films. We focused mainly on films that were most similarto our opening title sequenceas this helped us to see whattheir target audiences wereand therefore ultimately helped us decide on our target audience.

We used photopeach throughout our research and planning to show collections of photos at different points in our research and planning, for example we used this for assignment 18 to show swede filming photos and assignment 56 to show draft 1 filming photos.

This website allowed us to provide sufficient evidence for the filming processes of both our swede and our OTS’.

Youtube to mp3 converter was very important for the construction of our drafts and final piece, it allowed us to find specific sounds on youtube and to put it into a format in which we could include it in our OTS’, we used this for the ‘whoosh’ sound effect in our final piece and many other sounds throughout the process of making our OTS’.

Construction technology #1- Youtube to mp3 converter

This technology was only used slightly in the construction of our opening title sequence. Specifically we used this technology when making our BBFC screen for the start of the video.

Construction technology #2 – Photoshop

Marcus was in charge of using photoshop as he was the most experienced on the program.

We used youtube as our evaluation question 5, the way we used it is by adding annotations and notes over the video to comment on specific things that were happening at the time in our final OTS.

It was quick and easy to use and very useful for giving across a lot of information in a simple way.
