I used the apple mac to do the majority of my work. It has all the software that I needed on it, such as Photoshop and final cut. I had never used a mac before so other the course of the year I have been able to learn and develop my skills on using one and have learned all the software techniques that a pc does not have.

I used the video camera’s to film my film opening. I used this to begin with in college to learn the basics and then outside of college when I had improved my skills. It allowed me to develop my skill on using a camera that I had already acquired, enabling me to create a successful final product.

I used the tripod when filming my product. This came in useful as it allowed me to capture more shot’s, with a better quality than I would of with the hand held camera. Contributing to a higher standard of product with my film sequence.

I used Photoshop to create my production logos, which allowed for my film to look more realistic. Through using this software I have learned how to correctly use this and create a high quality product, expanding my skill set., by learning how to layer images and well as creating graphics

Final cut was used to edit my film. This software allowed me to add transitions and music to my film, allowing for a successful piece of work. Using this software I learned how to correctly add transitions and effects when creating an realistic product, helping to expand on my skills I had already acquired using this software.

Prezi is a website than is used to create online presentations allowing the creator to add text and images. I used Prezi if I had a large amount of information to present in one place. Through using Prezi I learnt how to present a large amount of information, for example my textual analysis and evaluation questions. Although this software can be time consuming it is an easy and creative way of presenting my work.

I used YouTube to upload my video, allowing my to embed it into my blog. I had never uploaded a video to the internet before so it allowed me to learn how to do so as well as helping me learning about embedding software through HTML codes.

Slide share is an easy way to upload and content I had done on a PowerPoint, to the internet so I could embed it into my blog. I used this for my title research and some of my evaluation question as it was easy to use and not time consuming.

The art of the Title was a helpful website I used to find opening titles of films with the same genre as mine. The website was easy to used and allowed me easily to embed the video into my blog so I could compare it with my own sequence and analyse them.

Pearl and dean is another website which I used as it allowed me to easily find out the target audience for a film, which helped me during my secondary audience research as I was able to find out the age, gender and class of people who would most like watch my film allowing me to identify my target audience

BLOGGER

Blogger is a useful website which allows users to set up a blog and post various range of media such as videos, prizes, power points etc. It has been helpful as I have used a varied amount of technologies enabling me to display them all in one place.

Blogger was the most useful piece of technology I used through out the course as it allowed my to keep all my work updated but all allowed me to display it clearly all in one place.

I have learnt from using this how to organise my work correctly as well as how to create and use a blog as well as how to embed different technologies.
