What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I have Learnt that there are so many useful programs and websites online which can be used to represent data, show feedback or even normal information on to my blog. It made everything look much more creative and interesting, it made people want to read what I had found out. It was also very easy to learn and apply.

I used many different sites, in particularly for PowerPoint's to allow me to show my Magazine Deconstructions and then sharing them via Slideshare to allow me to embed the PowerPoint Presentation to my blog. I used other sites too including, Prezi, Powtoons, Surveymonkey, Youtube and emaze.

Using these new technologies, it was possible for me to upload and embed different types of research to my blog to aid the making process of my magazine. Also using web 2.0 in relation to sharing my magazine pages to Facebook allows me to receive feedback as to what my audience likes/dislikes.

I also used other technology such as during my photo shoot. This included using DSLR cameras, green screens and professional usage of light to get the good light and background. One had to plan the photo shoots well otherwise it would have taken years. It was during the preliminary task that I started using manipulation programmes such as apple’s Photoshop. It took a while but I soon learned that it was relatively easy and it helped me form a better idea of what I wanted my magazine to look like.
