Pollution Problems
Computers have shorter life compared to many other electronic systems.
To protect it we should remember 4R: Reduce - Minimize the use of costly resources Recycle - Recycle paper, disks, batteries, etc Reuse - Avoid using disposable items. Repair - Do not simply throw away computers or
peripherals with minor problems.
Recycling means using the used materials again in one way or another.

What considered unfriendly to the environment?
Raw materials used to make computer are thrown away
Toxic waste is produced when electronic parts of computers are made
Batteries and cartridges contan toxic chemicals that can poison water and soil habitat
Computers use up a lot of paper. More paper means more trees being cut down
