Lazarillo
• Lazarillo de Tormes is considered an anonymous
work.
• Numerous authors have been proposed to have
penned it (Alfonso Valdés, Diego Hurtado de
Mendoza, Juan Luis Vives, etc.)
• At this stage, the purpose of this project is to
build a searchable digital library of all the books
written by those authors and others within a 50-
