NORTHWESTERN MICHIGAN COLLEGE MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Northwestern Michigan College is a publicly funded community college that servespeople, organizations and businesses. We serve more than 50,000 learnersannually throughout the Grand Traverse region and beyond. NMC offers associatedegrees and professional certificates and, through our University Center, nine partneruniversities grant baccalaureate, graduate and doctoral degrees.

Northwestern Michigan College is offering scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year rangingfrom $500-$1000 to applicants with an equivalent 3.0 GPA or higher who complete an applicationby June 1, 2013.For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/10jauuh

UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATIONSCHOLARSHIPS

Founded on the principle that an outstanding liberal arts education is thebasis of successful citizenship, UND is focused on teaching, research andcreative and scholarly activity, and service to the state of North Dakota,nation, and world. Students matter at UND. It is a place where studentsresearch alongside renowned faculty and those same renowned faculty light up the classrooms.

The National Science Foundation has awarded to the University of North Dakota Science Team agrant to support a scholarship program to students in biology, chemistry, geography andmathematics. MONMOUTH COLLEGE MERIT-AND NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Monmouth College, a residential liberal arts college located in the beautiful, safeand affordable Midwest, warmly welcomes international students, includingtransfer students.

There is no application fee, and admitted students are automatically consideredfor merit scholarships (of up to $21,000 per year) - there is no additionalapplication required. With proper documentation, students will also be considered for financial-need-based aid (approximately $5,000 per year). The total cost to the student next year (includingroom, board, travel, books, and health insurance) will be approximately $13,000 per semester. SMITH COLLEGE SUMMER PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS

Smith College's summer programs are offering multiple $1500 scholarships forits "American College Internship Program," which runs from July 7-August 3,2013.

The program offers 15 hours each week of ESL, American culture and historyclasses, as well as academic writing and public speaking courses. We will tourother college campuses, such as Harvard, M.I.T., Amherst, Middlebury, NYU, to name a few. We willalso help you select undergraduate and graduate programs to apply to. EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC MERITSCHOLARSHIPS

PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES INTERNATIONAL MINI-MST CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Pittsburg State University's College of Technology is excited to announcea new International Mini-MST Certificate Program, which is anintroduction to Master of Science in Technology. The Mini-MST Programwill be held this summer on July 15-26, 2013. This program is uniquely designed to accommodatethe international learner and introduce the U.S. industrial, engineering, and technologicalenvironment presented by the faculty of PSU. This program includes both on-campus classes in thestate-of-the-art Kansas Technology Center and off-campus field trips.

This non-degree, non-credit bearing program is open to all students, both undergraduate andgraduate, as well as professionals in the workforce. Students do not need to have a technologydegree to apply.
