AccessApps at Dundee College

Portable Access Device Development Initiative (PADDI) SLIC funded project (Innovation & Development fund) August 09 – June 10 Collaboration between Dundee College and JISC RSC

‘to develop a package of tools that would provide students with library support materials and online applications to support their learning’


Project aims

Develop and deliver training to college staff and students Develop existing RSC support materials for Dundee

College in-house use Source and identify a range of library resources for

inclusion Produce a package of branded tools designed to meet

the needs of Dundee College students


August 2009: Steering group formed

August 2009: Key project staff trained

September 2009: 3 pilot groups identified

October 2009: Curriculum staff training

November 2009: Key apps and library resources added to college network


December 2009: Launch of Dundee College AccessApps!
