Historyfoodpanda was launched in March 2012 in Singapore and expanded into 16 countries

by the end of the year.

This was followed by an expansion into seven more countries, to make a total of

23, by February 2013. 

The company stated that it aimed to move into 40 nations in Asia, Europe, Latin

America, the Middle East and Africa by the end of Q1 2014 and did achieve this.

An article in the New York Times stated that ‘’Ralf Wenzel and his company are

evidence that the method works,’’ regarding the rapid expansion plans.

entering their postcodes on the site and browsing for food from a list of restaurants.

Every time, key in the Debit Card information on the trusted web so that our information will not be leaked and use by other people.

The benefits was the company have more chance to collaborate with other fast food

company to use the EDI system.

This will generate the income for the fast food company as well as the FoodPanda

company which provide online food ordering.

For example like KFC, 7 Eleven, Papa rich and much more. The alliance allows

foodpanda customers using the foodpanda to place order more often.

The partnership also allows customers to order snacks, beverages, confectionery and

prepaid reload cards.
