EAST BAY COLLEGE FUND

For over a decade, the East Bay College Fund has provided services and support to Oakland-area public school students who come from low-income families or who are otherwise underrepresented at the college level.

The fund offers college access services, mentoring, substantial scholarships, and ongoing college counseling and life skills training to help these resilient students succeed in postsecondary studies and expand their range of opportunities.

While its largest program is the Great Expectations scholarship, a four-year, $16,000 scholarship and mentoring support program, the East Bay College Fund is much more than a financial assistance organization.
