POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONABOUT “HOW TO CREATE A
POWERPOINT PRESENTATION”Ines Sedlar
Who?
• The students were fifth-graders of Elementary school of brothers Radić in Bračević.
• The eTwinning project leader is Alenka Miljević.
• The teacher and the member of eTwinning team is me, Ines Sedlar.
Where?
• We are all in a small country-sided mountain school.
• The nearest big city is Split.• And it’s all located in Croatia.
What?
• Fifth-graders learned how to create a PowerPoint presentation so they can use it to contribute with their ideas and experiences.
• Our first goal was to teach them how to make a presentation of themselves.
Why?
• The need for students to learn how to create a PowerPoint presentation occured when they had to present themselves to their peer students from our partner schools.
• They saw each other via Skype, so the next step is to show them who they are.
• This is all part of the eTwinning project “Water and health”

How?
This is how it looked like
What happened in the end?
• The reaction of the students was better then I expected.
• Children were very enthusiastic.• One of the students even asked if he could
come back during a school break to start making his presentation.
• During the next couple of days all of the students brought their presentation to school.
Now what?
• Step by step, we go on with our project.• Students enjoy socializing, meeting new
people, cultures and realizing how big the world really is, but at the same time very close if they use IT.
• The project about water and health brought students from different schools and countries together and this is what really matters.
THANK YOU!
