“Wish peers and family members understood dyslexia, and what it is like during school. Just getting through the day can be really tough.
Writing, spelling, and taking notes is harder than anyone can ever imagine . It’s like the words refuse to come out of my head!
I’m amazed by my creativity and ability to think out side the box. I’m always seeking ways to improve concepts, and make processes better.
My brain is like a computer screen and processes information at lightening speeds.
When I see my class mates getting straight A’s, I want to be like them. Yet, its hard because of the dyslexia.”

“Dyslexics think differently.
They are intuitive and excel at problem-solving, seeing the big picture, and simplifying.
They are poor rote reciters, but inspired visionaries.” Sally Shaywitz
