Summary

Gathering Blue, by Lois Lowry, tells you that you can be important even crippled. In the beginning Kira was born crippled. Then her mom died. So Kira was sent to the Council of Guardians to prove she could stay alive. Gladly, she wins her life. Because of this , she gets to live in the house of edifice. Now she is trying to find blue. Then she finds her father and he has blue.
