Duke University’s Medical Alumni Weekend 2015

IntroductionDr. Elliott Bennett-Guerrero, a graduate of Harvard Medical

School, is the director of perioperative clinical research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. In addition to his research, Dr. Elliott Bennett-Guerrero is a tenured professor of anesthesiology at Duke University’s medical school. Each fall, graduates of Duke’s medical school are invited to return to the campus for a celebratory alumni weekend.

This year’s Medical Alumni weekend will be held from Thursday, November 12 to Sunday, November 15. Though graduates from all classes may attend the festivities, official reunions will be held for classes ending in five or zero from the year 1965 forward.

Duke University’s Medical Alumni WeekendSpecial reunions will also be hosted for graduates from

Duke’s Half Century Society, as well as the Young Alumni group.

The weekend’s events will include campus tours, award ceremonies, luncheons, an orchestra concert, class dinners, and lectures on a wide variety of medical subjects. Additionally, a tailgating party will be held before the football game between Duke’s Blue Devils and the Pittsburgh Panthers. Recommended accommodations for the weekend include the Durham Hotel, the Residence Inn, and 21 C Museum Hotel, all of which are in close proximity to the campus.
