I wanted to create an impression that the interview is about the past. With her looking up into the sky this action is normally associated with recalling past events and I wanted to crop it into a circle that gradually gets lighter as it furthers out to show the old ‘savs’ was and is gradually becoming a thing of her past. I used the Gradient feather to achieve this effect.

Here I used an exclamative quote that shows that this interview was very personal and full of emotion. No matter the target audience, people are always going to be interested in the personal life of famous artists. I started of with an ellipsis marker to encourage readers to read the whole interview so they can find out what context this was said in.I Highlighted ‘I AM’ as in the interview the quote will be included but then I will write the rest of the sentence where ‘she repeats’ the phrase with ‘I AM going to get up’ replaced with ‘God picked me up…’. Creating a sense of irony and astonishment for the audience.

SAVS is 'a famous secular artist' who converted to Christianity. Non-Christians will be intrigued to know why she stopped doing her normal type of music and Christians will be excited to know what lead to her conversion.

Here again I insert guides to make sure everything is aligned.

I used a drop cap at the beginning of the introduction so that readers eyes can be drawn to where the text begins and gives the first word authority portraying to the audience this is not any old article ultimately effecting the way they approach it.

I exported a more cheerful picture of the ‘artist’ in colour to show that – yes, her life used to be dull and she used to dream of her success and now her life is full of joy and she has found happiness and in the last place she would expect.

I later removed this picture however because I changed my mind about having multiple pictures. Having one picture gives that one picture more power and effect. As you see below in my research.

Here I wanted to make bubbles to add to the idea of her ‘image’ picture being of the past and her thinking into the future ‘what would my life be like in 2012’. This is the way I went about making the circles and making them transparent to a degree.

The small thought bubbles looked out Later I deleted the small ones because when people think, their thoughts do not go down.of place.

Its always important to put your magazines stamp on every page and I did this by putting the email and website at the bottom of the page; website on the bottom left and email on the bottom right.

Why I did not include columnsThe reason why I broke the convention of having columns is that this is the story of her life so I wanted to make the text seem that of a story. Hence why I made the edge of the page darker, using the gradient tool, to create an effect that it was a book e.g. below.

I did this as well in my contents page but more so to create a 3D effect.

Positive criticismAfter evaluation I realized although I wanted to break conventions there are some conventions that should always be followed and columns is one. As well I needed to include who was the interviewee and interviewer to re-inform the audience on who is involved in this interview. The text was blending in too much with the background so I made 'SAVS' replies in red; one so it can stand out but two it symbolizes blood, the fact that the blood of Jesus brought about her change this would be the most appropriate colour.
