Domestic violence is the obstinate terrorization, physical stabbing, battery, sexual attack, and other abusive behavior as part of an organized model of power and control perpetrated by a close partner against another.

It can be demonstrated by four types of violence i.e. physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional violence.

The occurrence and severity of domestic violence can vary considerably due to the consistent efforts of the partners to maintain power and control over the other individuals

Domestic violence is an outbreak that can affect individuals in every society, regardless of age, financial status, sexual direction, gender, race, rel igion, or nat ionality.

I t is often accompanied by emotional ly offensive and control l ing performance that is only a portion of a systematic guide of power and control.

Domestic violence usually results in physical injuries, psychological traumas, and even deaths of the vict ims.

The overwhelming physical , emotional , and psychological outcomes of domestic violence can cross generations and last a l i fet ime

In order to prevent and control the domestic violence, it is necessary to control effective measures and actions in a well defined and strategic way.

The possible solutions to prevent domestic violence are discussed below.

There are well defined laws and regulatory framework for majority of the actions that are prevailing domestic violence but all aspects that are included under domestic violence are not protected by the state laws.

There should be aggressive actions against domestically violent actions and increased penalties and there should also be more serious response from the judiciary system of the state against the cases of domestic violence fines so that the violent partners can be conscious before committing any violent action

Individuals in the society should be educated and trained such that they can escape from a domestic violent situation.

The first step to action is to familiarize them with the possible signs and indicators of domestic violence.

The second step is that the society should be trained with methods that can stop the abuser at the point of incidence.

The next step is the victim training about reacting on the situation

The society should be trained through workshops or programs so that the society may be helpful for the victim and can support the victim whenever they see any domestic violent action or any abuser.

This will reduce the violence rate effectively

Prevention programs and awareness campaign are usually consists of broad and cultural messages that make a difference in the psychology of the people especially children and youngsters are targeted in these programs so that they cannot be a part of domestic violence.

These programs can impact on the individuals effectively and they wil l consider the solutions whenever they will under any domestic violent situation.
