This page had a short paragraph on the artist’s life. However, as we went on we were able to develop the character’s profile more which enabled us to also make changes to her “about” page and add more information on the text. The page was developed with a border; I feel that this was a nice touch as it made the text stand out more from the page. It also relates well with the artist as it shows her girly side more and shows that she is a fan of the finer little details- it represents her in a way.

As you can see the ‘about’ page on the website went from being blank to containing a few pictures of our artist. This part of the website is not yet done as we are hoping to add more pictures of our artist so that the audience feel more connected with her and what she does outside of her line of work.

As you can see, I was unsure of which font to use. I started off with the “cookie” font. This was because I felt that it would be appealing to our female target audience. However, I felt that it was a bit too girly and the swirls on the letters made it unreadable at times. So then I decided to change it to the “American typewriter” font. This was because I felt that it was easily readable, it stood out and it was bold. Hence why I changed the font because I feel that it makes the writing stand out from the page in a simple but bold way.

When I first started creating the website, the main colour chosen was aqua green. This was because I felt that our artist should be able to appeal to both girls and boys as it has been proven that Blue is the favourite colour of more than half of the world's population, and the least disliked colour by most cultures. As my group and I developed the artist’s profile, we realised that the traits and her story is one that a lot of females can relate to and sympathise with on different things. For this reason, I changed the colour to lilac so that she would mainly be able to appeal to girls but it doesn’t stop boys from being fan.
