• This is the same book from which we took this petroglyph and wondered; what creature was large enough for these ancient Americans to ride in this fashion; standing erect or lying down?

• Parosaurolophus, we wondered? One of the most common dinosaur fossils found in New Mexico.

• Conclusion:• It’s difficult of course to positively identify animals represented in an ancient petroglyph;

were they real or fanciful, drawn to scale or not?

• If one is predisposed to believe that a creature could not exist in that time, then another explanation will be given and accepted and certain other possibilities will be foreclosed.

• What other creature has the body shape and long neck of the sauropod or prosauropod dinosaur. A camel, perhaps? A misshapened horse? A completely fanciful creature which just happens to resemble a dinosaur and which also displays the extraordinary size of the dinosaur?

• It’s possible that those who do not see a dinosaur representation here are correct. Its also possible however, that some of the big game hunted in Ancient New Mexico included dinosaurs.
