Withdrawal Slip
Deposit“OH YEAH ! ! ! I’ve got MONEY,
MONEY, MONEY!
I’m going to deposit it in the bank for safe keeping!
Depositing money is when we ADD money to our bank account.
This keeps our money safe so we don’t lose it! No worries, we can withdraw it whenever we want! Well, when the bank is open at least!
Deposit Slip
NOTICE!! This dark line is like a decimal. Everything on the other side is the “CHANGE”
Withdrawal“I’m HUNGRY!!!!!”
I need to withdraw some money out of the bank to
buy food!
When we withdraw, we are SUBTRACTING money out of our
bank account. Always monitor how much is in your account!

Less Cash
I deposit my paycheck for safe keeping!
I want some of the money that’s in my paycheck to spend! This is how much you want to withdraw from your paycheck
Situation
Johnny has $22 in cash. He also has a $30 paycheck. On his deposit slip he puts $10 in the less cash section.
$22 CASH$30 PAYCHECK
Why would he take $10 out in cash when he is depositing $22 in cash?????? He should take$10 out of the $22 he already has BEFORE
depositing any money.
Net Deposit“Ok. My paycheck is $30, BUT
of that $30 I want $10 to keep in my wallet. The $10 is
where I write less cash.
$30 - $10 = $20
$20 is his NET DEPOSIT!

He forgot to subtract the money he wants to withdrawal (less cash). The net deposit should be $87.00. PLUS, if he did want money, he needs to sign for his money!
