As ELA moves into the Developing and Drafting stage of the curriculum cycle, this group will take on the task of evaluating our current teaching materials and resources, identifying gaps where resources are needed, and decide which resources are now outdated and need replacing. Elementary Math Curriculum Workgroup (2007–2008)
The Everyday Mathematics Alignment Committee (EDMAC), comprised of building and grade-level representatives, was convened in the 2006-2007 school year to analyze the current Everyday Mathematics textbook series in relation to the GLCEs (grades 1-5) to make recommendations for curriculum changes. As a result, EDMAC developed curriculum-pacing guides, math fact standards, supplemental materials, and formative assessments - learning paths in Compass Learning Odyssey to support mathematics teaching and learning in classrooms.
