definitionThe term woodworking joints refers to the connection between two pieces of wood or timber in a wooden construction.

DEFINITION: The cross halving joint is a common wood working joint mainly used in framework constructions. These joints can be seen on the strengthening rails of tables and chairs.

Definition:They are also moderately difficult to construct as they consists of two channels that interlock and are bonded together with adhesives instead of simply just nailing or screwing them together.
