Las Vegas Course March 7-14, 2015 2015 is the 10 th anniversary of the Las Vegas course at Creighton University. Las Vegas has grown in the last 75 years from a town of 40,000 to a city of nearly 2 million. This year we will meet with a variety of companies and do tours of casinos, hotels and other businesses (Zappos!) in Las Vegas. The purpose of the course is to help students understand the unique marketing, management, entrepreneurial, cultural and economic aspects of Las Vegas as an entry point to thinking about business in general. We will particularly focus on the gaming, hospitality and convention aspects, but we will also consider the ways that business transforms culture and society, looking at water- resource issues, congestion, and philanthropy.
