Here are some distribution companies i could go with to represent my trailer. My most likely option is Lionsgate due to their good reputation and having seen them in horror anf thriller films that I've watched previously so i associate them with the genre.

SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT LIONSGATE: (SOURCE FROM WIKI)

Canadian-American film production/distribution studio and a division of Lions Gate Entertainment. It is the largest and most successful mini-major film studio in North America. It focuses on foreign and independent films and has distributed various commercially successful film series, including The Twilight Saga (partially, via the firm's 2012 acquisition of Twilight distributor Summit Distribution), The Hunger Games, The Divergent Series, Saw and The Expendables.

Lions Gate occasionally co-produces films with major studios. For example, Lions Gate teamed with Miramax Films for the 2004 sequel Dirty Dancing- Havana Nights and with Paramount Pictures for 2002's Narc and 2004's The Prince and me. Lions Gate was also a silent partner in 20th Century Fox's 2004 sci-fi film The Day After Tomorrow. And also in 2004, for the first time ever, Lions Gate joined forces with independent rival United artists in producing Hotel Rwanda.

I have created my own logo for my film, on InDesign:

My design is intended to be basic to cause mystery and enigma when it comes up on screen, i used minimalist font which had a creepy hand written edge to it. The lack of colour also helps because it looks like old fashioned and traditional. The flash of lighting represents warning and danger, when it comes up on screen I intend for it to flash in and fade out to black, leaving the 'Warehouse' text floating for a few seconds. This should also hopefully play on some peoples fears as they are scared of thunder and lighting. I could put a thunder or loud booming sound effect as the lighting appears to shock and grab the audiences attention. This would create the element of suspense and mystery associated with thrillers but also have the fear and shock which is entailed in the horror genre.
