Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes(Bariloche, Río Negro)

Ancient forests of cypress, poplar, “lenga”, “ñire” and “coihue” trees frame the sparkling waters of the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes. This last covers 560 square kilometres and its name, in Mapuche, means “Tiger Island”.

El 27 de junio de 1927, Carlos Gardel fue invitado a este café con sus guitarristas José Ricardo y Guillermo Barbieri para cantar en la velada homenaje al famoso autor italiano Luigi Pirandello. Hoy, en el subsuelo, se organizan espectáculos de tango y jazz.
