Crack GATE 2017 with Good Score and Land with a PSU Job

If you are able to secure a good rank in GATE 2017, you can turn your

dreams of a PSU career into reality. Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) is a

government-owned corporation wherein the central or state government holds

51% of the total shares. Every year, a number of PSUs hire candidates based

on their GATE score. This year’s GATE result will be declared on March 27.

Some of these PSUs are listed below:

BSNL

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced recruitment for Junior Telecom

Officers (JTOs) through GATE 2017 score. The application form is available from March

6 and the last date for submission of form is April 6, 2017. BSNL will be recruiting in the

disciplines of Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, Radio, Information Technology, Computer

Science and Instrumentation Engineering.

WBSEDCL

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) will be recruiting

candidates for the profile of Assistant Engineers on the basis of GATE 2017 score. The

application form is now available on the official site and can be submitted by March 24,

2017. Recruitment will be done for engineers in the disciplines of Civil, Electrical and

Information Technology & Communication.

RITES

Candidates can avail the application forms for the recruitment of Graduate

Engineer Trainees (GETs) from the official site of RITES Ltd. The forms

will be available from March 29, 2017 and April 19, 2017 will be the last

date for its submission. RITES will be recruiting engineers in the

disciplines of Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Signal &

Telecommunications engineering.

PGCIL

The application forms for recruitment to Power Grid Council of India

Limited are available on the official site from March 9, 2017. The last date

to submit the form is March 31, 2017. PGCIL recruitment through GATE

2017 is for the role of Executive Trainees in the disciplines of Electronics,

Civil, Electrical and Computer Science Engineering.

To apply for PSUs through GATE 2017, the candidate needs to have an

in-depth technical knowledge and a strong understanding of core

engineering principles.
